The golden rule of good stairs design is to keep it simple. Notice how this has worked well for this stairs Project.  This metal staircase is of simple design. The stairs are built to the maximum pitch of 42 degrees and therefore I decided to put two handrails on the stairs.

You will notice there is a bar between each step that is to bring the stairs in line with current building regulations. This metal staircase uses a black powder coat finish. I recommend this type of finish for durability and an aesthetic pleasant look. For steps I advise using a good solid piece Of timber,  40 mm is a good thickness, Notice how generous the step looks. This is important for good-looking stairs.
